Biography:
Dr. Luis Villarreal is a research professor at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Autonomous University of Baja California, Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. So far, Dr. Villarreal has published 58 indexed articles, with a total of 1,555 citations in Scopus. He has participated in more than 80 national and international congresses. Founder and editor-in-chief of the Revista de Ciencias Tecnológicas (RECIT), member of the editorial board of important publishers such as Bentham, MDPI, Hindawi and referee of 205 articles. Evaluator of research projects in Mexico, Italy, Malaysia and Peru. His research lines Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, Drug-Release Systems and Biotechnology.
