Biography:
Tayyba Tariq is a PhD candidate in Chemistry and Biotechnology at Swinburne University of Technology. Her research centres on the design of polydopamine-based nanocarriers for advanced drug delivery, with a focus on vitamin C and gentamicin co-loaded systems for controlled release and enhanced therapeutic efficacy. This work integrates nanoparticle synthesis, physicochemical characterization, and hydrogel formulations aimed at improving drug stability and antimicrobial performance. Through a multidisciplinary approach, She is seeking to develop safer, targeted, and clinically relevant therapeutic platforms.
