Biography:
Prof. Shamaki, Bala Usman holds Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1995, MSc, 2008 and PhD, 2014. He worked as a Veterinary Research officer II, at Nigerian Institute for Trypanosomiasis Research (NITR) Vom, Plateau state Nigeria, and become Ag. Head of Veterinary Livestock (VLS) in 2008. He then transferred his services to University of Maiduguri in 2008 as lecturer II, and rose to become a Professor in Pharmacology, and became the pioneer Head of Department, Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Maiduguri. He has published more than 100 scientific articles.
