Biography:
Maria Cristina Gamberini is a tenured researcher in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the Department of Life Sciences, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has extensive experience in the structural characterization of bioactive and pharmaceutical compounds. Her research focuses on Raman and SERS spectroscopy, DFT calculations, molecular docking, polymorphism, co-crystals, antimicrobials and drug–metal interactions. She has published more than 90 peer-reviewed papers and obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification for Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology.
