Biography:
Dr. Azza Dawoud is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics at MAPTMRI, National Centre for Research (NCR), Sudan. Her research focuses on drug discovery from medicinal plants, covering extraction, characterization of bioactive compounds, formulation development, and quality control. She has led and contributed to several national projects developing effective herbal therapeutics and has published widely in international journals. With over 14 years of university teaching experience across multiple faculties of pharmacy, Dr. Dawoud has participated in numerous scientific conferences and serves as a reviewer for several reputable international journals. She is also a member of multiple regional and global scientific organizations.
