Dr. Shweta Nene is a pharmaceutics researcher specializing in topical and transdermal drug delivery, nanoformulation development, and inflammatory disorders. She completed her PhD in Pharmaceutics (Formulation Technology) from NIPER Hyderabad, India, focusing on nanoparticulate topical systems for atopic dermatitis. Her expertise includes nanoemulsions, liquid crystalline nanoparticles, liposomes, Franz diffusion studies, histopathology, fluorescence microscopy, and preclinical evaluation in rodent models including atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and rheumatoid arthritis. She has contributed to research publications, holds granted Indian patents, and mentored postgraduate students. She also gained industry experience as an Associate Scientific Writer at Sanofi Healthcare, strengthening her scientific communication skills.
