Biography:
Dr. Selene Baschieri has thirty years of experience in Immunology and Biotechnology research. She is currently involved in developing new strategies for the use of plant systems for the innovation of vaccine formulations (vaccine delivery) and for the development of novel diagnostic/therapeutic technologies.
Main research interests: Vaccine/drug delivery, Molecular farming (production of proteins of biopharmaceutical interest in plants), Plant virology, Expression of recombinant proteins in heterologous hosts.
