Biography:
Niyati is currently a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow PhD student at the Department of Physics, IIT Gandhinagar, India. She did her BSc in physics from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad (2020), and her MSc in physics from IIT Gandhinagar (2022). Her current area of research is active matter physics, and her work mainly focuses on developing active microbubble-based drug delivery platforms for enhanced cellular uptake. By employing enzymatic active fluctuations in tandem with ultrasonic cavitation, she aims to develop ‘vanishing’ micromotors for cancer therapy. So far, she has 6 first authored research papers and continues to work on more projects.
