Biography:
Dr. Souza is a Physician, Psychiatrist, with Master’s in Medical Psychotherapy (National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM), Psychoanalyst (UNAM/Mexican Institute of Psychoanalysis), and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (International College of Higher Education/Secretary of Public Education). Pioneer in Mexico in Teaching Addictions and Dual Disorders. Professor of 659 courses in educational and health institutions. He developed managerial, organizational, and editorial functions. He presented 354 papers at national / international conferences; he published 232 articles in peer-reviewed and indexed journals. He is the author of 25 book chapters, 21 books on mental health’s clinical/educational. Member of 11 societies, 3 scientific academies. Private consultant (1974).
