Biography:
Jorge David Tovar Castro studied Biomedical Sciences at Liberty University, United States, and graduated with a BS in 2014. He then joined the research group of Dr. Sylvia Daunert in the Summer of 2022, at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department. David is originally from Bogota, Colombia, and while being on an F-1 visa is not a straightforward process, David has demonstrated grit and passion for his scientific and professional development.
