Biography:
Dr. Jaunius Urbonavičius receiveda MS degree in Biochemistry at Vilnius University, Lithuania, in 1992 and Ph.D. in Microbiology at Umeå University, Sweden, in 2002. He performed his postdoctoral studies under supervision of Dr. Henri Grosjean at CNRS in Gif-sur-Yvette, France in 2003-2006. Afterwards, he worked as the Researcher at Université Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels, Belgium, between 2007 and 2012. He returned to Lithuania in 2012 where he works as Senior Researcher at Vilnius University and as Professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University since 2017.
