Biography:
Dr. Florin Borcan studied Chemistry at the West University Timisoara, Romania and graduated as MS in 2004. He then joined the research group of Prof. Remus Nutiu at the Faculty of Chemistry, Biology and Geography of West University Timisoara, Romania (UVT-CBG). He received his PhD degree in 2009 at the same institution. After two years postdoctoral fellowship supervised by Prof Andrei Anghel at the Department of Biochemistry Timisoara, Romania, he obtained the position of an Associate Professor at “Victor Babes” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, Romania. He has published more than 80 research articles in ISI journals.
