Biography:
Dr. Rama Rao Nadendla is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator in pharmaceutical sciences with over 34 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience. He is presently serving as Professor & Principal of and Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy at since 2009. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from JNTU Hyderabad, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from BITS Pilani with distinction, and B.Pharm with Gold Medal from Gulbarga University. His areas of expertise include Pharmaceutics, Advanced Drug Delivery Systems, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Regulatory Affairs, Herbal and Nano-formulations, and Translational Research. Dr. Nadendla has published over 678 research papers in reputed indexed journals including Scopus and Web of Science. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemists (India), Association of Biotechnology & Pharmacy, and Andhra Pradesh Akademy of Sciences. He has received numerous prestigious recognitions including the Andhra Pradesh State Government Pharmacy Teacher Award, APTI Principal of the Year Award, APTI Lifetime Achievement Award, and AVRS Best Principal Award. Under his leadership, the institution achieved notable recognitions including NIRF rankings and NAAC A+ accreditation. He continues to contribute significantly toward pharmaceutical education, research innovation, academic administration, and student empowerment in India.
