Biography:
Helen Cho, PhD is the SVP, Head of global R&D of Samyang Biopharm Corporation where she is responsible for the research and development of products in the areas of surgical care, medical aesthetics, advanced drug formulation for oncology and delivery technologies for gene therapeutics. Prior to Samyang, Helen served as the program director for immuno-oncology programs as a member of the Vaccine and Immunotherapeutics Department at Pfizer Inc. In her role, she led multi-disciplinary R&D programs from discovery, platform development, to early clinical advancement of drugs for oncology indications.
She received her Ph.D. in molecular biology and biochemistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed her postdoctoral training at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies.
